Meet the Founder: Glen Muller
With 20 years of hands-on industry experience, I’ve worked in workshops, mine sites, and the field, diagnosing, repairing, and designing solutions that make tough jobs easier.
Starting out in the Australian Defence Force as a Fitter and Turner, I built a strong foundation in precision engineering and problem-solving under pressure. Over the years, I gained certifications as a Diesel Fitter and Automotive Electrician and later completed a Diploma in Engineering—combining technical expertise with practical, on-the-ground knowledge.
But here’s what really sets Ferrum Engineering apart: I understand firsthand the frustrations of using the wrong tool for the job, dealing with parts that don’t fit properly, and working with equipment that should be better. That’s why everything we design is built with the end user in mind.
